Ghanshyam Acharya-  is a senior organizational development and community capacity-building professional with more than 25 years of experience in community mobilization, institutional strengthening, and participatory development. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.), Associated with Sahakarmi Samaj since 1998, he currently serves as an Organizational Development Officer and has played a key role in strengthening community-based organizations, networks, cooperatives, and local institutions across Banke, Bardiya, and other districts of Nepal. He began his development career as a Community Educator under the UMN Surkhet Project and has since gained extensive expertise in organizational assessment, capacity development, programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, advocacy, partnership development, and community-led governance. Mr. Acharya has designed and facilitated numerous trainings and consultations on organizational development, GESI, community scorecards, cooperative strengthening, conflict resolution, local advocacy, team building, resource mobilization, and public school quality improvement. He has also contributed to village profiling, organizational development publications, and community development articles. Beyond his professional responsibilities, he has served as Chairperson of the Right to Food District Network, Banke, Chairperson of the Human Rights Alliance Banke District Network, Board Member of Sansthagat Bikas Sanjal, and Member of FIAN Nepal. Netra Narayan Regmi is a highly experienced organizational development and community capacity-building specialist with more than 31 years of professional experience in community mobilization, institutional strengthening, and participatory development. Associated with Sahakarmi Samaj since 1997 A.D., he currently serves as an Organizational Development Officer and has played a pivotal role in strengthening community-based organizations, civil society institutions, and local governance systems across Nepal. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively in remote and diverse districts including Gorkha, Dhading, Jajarkot, Dailekh, Banke, and Bardiya, gaining practical expertise in grassroots development and organizational transformation. His core areas of expertise include community mobilization, organizational capacity development, programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, policy development, advocacy, project management, institutional strengthening, and staff development. Mr. Regmi has facilitated more than 150 trainings, workshops, and consultations on community development, GESI, social audit, organizational assessment, local governance, disaster risk reduction, people-centered development, resource management, and leadership development for community groups, CBNOs, NGOs, and government agencies. Navraj Jaisi

Program Officer & Local Governance Expert

Navraj Jaisi is an experienced community development practitioner, trainer, and local governance expert with more than 25 years of experience in community mobilization, institutional development, local governance, social transformation, and capacity building. He has been associated with Interdependent Sociaty Surkhet (ISS) and Sahakarmi Samaj since 2056 B.S. (1999/2000 A.D.).
Currently,  serving as a Program Officer at Sahakarmi Samaj, he has extensive experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and community empowerment. He has  facilitated training programs for community groups, Tole Lane Organizations (TLOs) and civil society organizations on topics including leadership development, organizational strengthening, community governance, climate adaptation, local-level planning, and Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI). Mr. Jaisi served as the elected Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 9, Chaukune Rural Municipality, Surkhet from 2074 B.S. to 2079 B.S. (2017–2022 A.D.), where he played a significant role in participatory planning, public service delivery, local infrastructure development, and community engagement.
Holding an Intermediate Degree in Education, Mr. Jaisi has also contributed articles and community success stories to Paurakhi magazine and continues to support community-led development through training, mentoring, and capacity-building initiatives. Ms. Albrina Singh is a dedicated social work professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a strong commitment to promoting social justice, gender equality, and community empowerment. Originally from Nepalgunj, she has developed valuable experience in community development, youth empowerment, training facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. Since May 2025, she has been working with Sahakarmi Samaj as a GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) Officer under the Pahunch Project. In this role, she provides technical and coordination support to field staff in integrating gender equality and social inclusion principles across project activities. She collaborates with local stakeholders, supports community engagement processes, contributes to capacity-building efforts, and assists in promoting inclusive and equitable development outcomes for marginalized communities. Before joining Sahakarmi Samaj, Ms. Singh served as a Program Manager Coach at Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) Training & Development Center, Kathmandu, from January 2022 to August 2024. During her tenure, she mentored and coached excluded and vulnerable youth, helping them develop life skills, employability competencies, and pathways toward social and professional integration. She also played an active role in partnership development, program coordination, budget management, reporting, and capacity-building initiatives.
