With support from UN World Food Program, Sahakarmi Samaj implemented Social Empowerment for Education Program (SEEP) projectin 10 VDCs of Surkhet district from 2005-2008.The objective of the project was to create environment for improving the quality of education by active participation of community and enhancing the capacity of School management committees and Food management committees. The project benefited 8,925 people from marginalisedcommunity including members of SMCs and FMCs. The total volume of the project was NPR 12.5 million (approximately 111 thousand USD).
