Reconciliation and Peace Initiatives for Social Empowerment
Sahakarmi Samaj implemented Reconciliation and Peace Initiatives for Social Empowerment (RISE) program with the support of ICCO/UPCN, the Netherlands, from 2008-2011. The main objective of the project was to strengthen the capacity of community people to have easy access to government resources through peaceful means of communications. The project benefited 9,925 people from conflict affected groups and marginalised communities. The total volume of the project was NPR 10.5 million (approximately 94 thousand USD).
