Promoting Community Governance through strengthening CSOs and CBNOs

Funding Organisation: Social Health and Education Program, Ireland / Presentation Sisters, Ireland
Objectives:
- Main Committees (MCs) and regional network organisations (CBNOs) will become proficient at supporting and mobilising their constituent local community development groups (Community Groups) and exercising leverage on their behalf to secure rights and resources for sustainable livelihoods and justice-oriented local development.
- Organisations from outside the SS work areas (GOs, NGOs and CBNOs) will adopt the elements of the FEST approach to facilitate disadvantaged individuals, groups and communities to secure citizen rights, sustainable livelihoods and justice-oriented local development.
Project Coverage: Bardiya, Kailali and Kanchanpur districts of Province Number 5 and Far Western Province.
Targeted Groups: Community Based Networking Organisations and Main Committees and their affiliated CGs.
